Cathy O'Keefe, President
Term Expires: 2012
Cathy O'Keefe has been a Rye Neck resident for 22 years, and is presently serving her second term on the Rye Neck Board of Education. As an active volunteer in the Rye Neck community, Mrs. O'Keefe began her commitment to education as a board member of the Mamaroneck Community Nursery School.
Her various roles with the Rye Neck PTSA culminated in serving as President of that organization from 1999-2001. She has served on both the high school and middle school PACs and on the Elementary Administrator Search Committees. She is a founding Board member of the Rye Neck Community Fund and also worked at the Rye Neck office of the Larchmont/Mamaroneck Youth Employment Service for over a decade. She was a board member for Rye Neck Student Aid Fund for 6 years.
Mrs. O'Keefe holds a BS in Business and Economics from the University of New Hampshire and worked in media sales until retiring to raise her children. She and her husband, Bill, live in Mamaroneck and have three daughters: Bonnie, (Rye Neck Class of '05, Williams College class of '09) ; Dana, (Rye Neck Class of '07, Vanderbilt class of 2011) and Virginia, Rye Neck High School class of 2012.
Guy Pipolo, Vice President

Mr. Guy Pipolo, Board of Education Vice President, has served since May 2006. He currently serves as the Board representative to the ADAC and the Westchester Putnam School Board Association.
Mr. Pipolo graduated from Iona College in 1985 and holds a BBA in Finance. He and his wife, Mary Jane, have three children: Krista (2007 Rye Neck High School graduate, Iona College class of 2012); Jaclyn ( 2009 Rye Neck High School graduate, Emerson College class of 2013 ); and Thomas (who attends the high school). They have resided in the Rye Neck community for more than 20 years.
Mr. Pipolo is an active member of the community and currently sits on the Village of Mamaroneck Recreation Commission and is a former member of the Larchmont Mamaroneck Little League Board of Directors.
Allen Hodys, Trustee
Term Expires: 2012
Al Hodys joined the Rye Neck Board of Education in July of 2009. This year (2011-2012) will be his third year on the Board. Mr. Hodys will serve as Chairman of the Board’s Audit Committee for a second year this year and he is a member of the Audit Committee, Board Representative to BOCES and Board Representative to the District Safety Team. Al is also actively engaged with the review and updating of District Policies.
Mr. Hodys brings many years of professional experience to his Board service. Since 2000 he has been working for an information technology consulting firm that supports, among other clients, the Department of Defense. Prior to his current position, Mr. Hodys was a practicing attorney.
He and his wife Debbie have two children in the Rye Neck School District: Cole, in 5th grade, and Julia, in 3rd grade.
Bonni Gottlieb, Trustee

Bonni Gottlieb joined the Rye Neck Board of Education in July of 2010. During her first year as a trustee, Mrs. Gottlieb served as the Board Representative to Special Services. She also spent much of her time advocating for our schools through direct contact with Senator Oppenheimer and George Latimer. This year will be Mrs. Gottlieb’s second year on the Board and along with her other duties she will be the West/Put Representative (along with Mr. Pipolo) and the West/Put Legislative Contact.
Bonni and her husband Jay have three children, Casey, Jessica & Michael who will be entering the middle school this fall.
Deborah Aulfinger, Trustee

Deborah Aulfinger has been a Rye Neck resident for the past 17 years and was born and raised in Greenwich Ct. The Aulfinger family has lived in the same home in the Rye Neck School District for over 70 years and attended our local public schools throughout those years. The family has personally watched our school district change and develop over the years to become the award winning school district that is today. Prior to having her older daughter enter into Rye Neck Schools Mrs. Aulfinger co-chaired The Greenwich YMCA’s Annual Campaign for Youth for 2 years and was a avid volunteer at the Greenwich Y, raising money for children’s programs for families in need of financial assistance. Deborah, along with her husband, Erich, a Rye Neck graduate , own a technology company which she runs full time. Deborah has 2 daughters Sara (11) and Ella (4). And is an active member of the Rye Neck PTSA. From 2006-2010 she chaired and co-chaired The Annual Spring Fair. And has been sitting on the Executive Board of the PTSA as Vice President of Fundraising for the past 2 years with the mission of looking closely at the economy and how it affects our families and the community around us. Mrs. Aulfinger has spent endless hours researching, creating and implementing ways in which we can raise funds without causing a financial strain to both our district families our community businesses. Deborah believes that It is this type of planning, long-term thinking and knowledge that will help Rye Neck in the future years as we potentially face difficult budget strains.
Rocco Germani, Trustee

Born and raised in the Rye Neck community, Mr. Germani has deep-rooted personal interest in making certain that the character and strengths of this school district remain on a continued course of excellence.
He is a graduate of Siena College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Marketing/Management.
Rocco is the owner of Germani Contracting, Inc., and currently works as an Assistant Building Inspector for the Town/Village of Harrison. This background has given him the experience in communicating with the public on a daily basis, the working knowledge of understanding and enforcing all aspects of local and State Building Code requirements, and a strong awareness of the necessity of solid, practical and far-sighted fiscal planning.
He and his wife, MaryAnn, have two children in the Rye Neck School District from Kindergarten. Our children currently attend Daniel Warren and F.E. Bellows. As such, he has a long-term interest in ensuring that the quality of education and standard of excellence of the Rye Neck School District does not waiver.
